What's your go-to Autumn genre? Mystery, fantasy, or something else?

I am slightly addicted to supernatural-themed cosy mysteries at the moment, but I also love crime fiction. I just finished Robert Galbraith's 'The Running Grave' - Book 7 in the Cormoran Strike series and my only regret is not having an 8th Strike novel to dive straight into!

Santa will start replying to letters from 20th November onwards.

If you can spare just £5 this Christmas, you could give families with seriously ill children in hospital, the magical gift of time together. You may have never heard of The Sick Children's Trust - most people haven't until the day they find that they need them.

The Sick Children's Trust @thesickchildrenstrust gives families a 100% FREE place to stay, decompress, and rest close to the hospital where their child is being treated. Their incredible 'homes from home' are no more than 5 minutes from the hospital and take the burden of finding accommodation away from parents who just want to be by their child's side, when they're needed most.

Taking away the hassle of long hours of travel; being connected via phone lines to the hospital ward in case you're needed, and being able to have siblings stay at the house so the family is kept together - these are all HUGE pressure relievers for families with a seriously ill child.

We know exactly how important your donation is to the SCT, as we've been an SCT family for coming up to a dozen years in January.

Every donation matters.
It costs £40 to put a family up in a room at a house, per night. If you can donate, please do - but if all you do to show your support is share this post; well, that's just fine too. I appreciate it, and so do other SCT families.
